The Y-Nui Youth Group is based at the Wainuiomata Community Centre under the leadership of our Youth Co-ordinator. We have a core group of approx 15 members age range 11yr - 18yrs.
In addition to this youth group we also run other youth programmes and activities to cater for the many youth visiting the centre on a daily basis such as regular youth hang-outs, community youth events,  employment support, health services, DJ courses, and general information.
Youth Services: Riseup, Y-Education & Careers, Y-suppport
Hangouts: Weekdays (3pm-430pm)
Youth Events: Last Friday or Saturday of the month
Fundraisers: Call the centre for Details.

Originally Nui FM was called 88.7 - Tha Rage FM; now with a new team of volunteers we have upgraded our computer systems and relaunched the radio station. The change has seen better equipment and more community involvement.
Nui FM runs 24hours a day, 7 days a week.  We have a team of 12 DJs  but continue to recruit. So if your interested please call us on 564 5999 to find out how you can join the team.

We now have social workers working out of the community centre.  We supply Advocacy and support to whanau in difficult circumstances.
