Walking Group
Tired of walking and exercising alone?
Every Tuesday 10am-11am we have a group of people that meet outside of the community centre and walk.
You can meet and make new friends whilst getting fit.

Social Services Network Meeting
Runs on the first Tuesday of the month (1215pm-onwards)
A good way for community groups, organizations, businesses and representatives of schools, and high-schools to come and network as one.
Every month we have a special guest representing the services they provide from their organization.

Whanau n Arms
For those that are in need
Finding it hard to make it through the week. Come on down to the Wainuiomata Community Centre every Wednesdays at 8.30am.
Stocks are limited you must sign up for a box of fruit and veges at 8.30am as there are many that rush in to sign up to the list. Once you have signed up you can come back at 10am-1230pm to collect your box. If you don't come back between those hours then you have a chance of losing your box of fruit and veggies to someone else.
It is open to all who are in need. If you have just moved here from another country and your accounts are waiting to be unfrozen then come on in.

Toast Masters

Every Wednesday 6.45pm-8.45pm we have Toast Masters. This service is a confidence group designed to increase your skill in motivational speaking and thereby increasing your confidence. It is for all types of people from beginners to highly motivated speakers.

Soul Juice (music course)
Starting Soon
A music course aimed at teaching young people the basics in music recording, instruments and Band playing interaction.
The age range is 13yrs an up, we have all the music equipment, just waiting on renovations to transform one of our rooms into a recording studio.
Once the recording studio is up and running advertisements will be sent out.

Then its time for you to meet your fellow parents in the Wainuiomata Community.
Every fortnight on Thursdays (10.30am-1.30pm) we have a group of parents (single or coupled) that come down to the wainuiomata community centre and share lunch and support one another. Come on down and spend time getting to know each other and mingle.
Every once in a while the Parent Support Group have a special guest speaker that comes in and give tips on how to mingle and support your child.
